Big Dam Bridge Race in Little Rock, AR

Angie and I rode in the Big Dam Bridge bike race on Saturday, September 27 in Little Rock. We had so much fun. We rode 50 miles and we finished in 2hrs 48mins 57secs!!! no flats but I WIPEDOUT! Angie had a headache and at our 25 miles turn around/ snack/drink station she asked an old man fire fighter (should of found a good looking young firefigher, he would have given it to us:-) )for some Tylenol and he said they were not allowed to give any medicine out. so we see a grocery store right after we leave there and Angie said I bet they have Tylenol and I said you wanna stop, she says yes. I was in front of her and had to brake pretty hard to make the turn and I turned way to fast b/c it was dirt with gravel and my tire just slide and I couldn't clip out in time so I just fell over with my shoes still clipped in. my right leg has a little road rash. its a good thing I had padded gloves on b/c I tried to break my fall with my hands (you would think I wouldn't do that since that is how I broke my wrist) anyway my hands are sore but ok and I have bruises where the bike fell on my leg and my arm. I was ok and we finished. It's kinda funny now. they said I fell gracefully.
I wore my Air Force jersey and this guy went by us with his air force jersey on and he said GO AIR FORCE and I said WOO HOO! we had a blackhawk fly over to start the race then we had military guys shot off to start.
